The Migration Marathon - Zine

Meet the butterflies that travel the furthest each year.

They're going the distance
From the stubborn Cloudless Sulphur (which would literally rather fly straight over a two-story house than drift an inch off its compass heading) to the Painted Lady riding high-altitude jet streams across the Sahara Desert, these little migrators fly the full marathon to get to their final destinations. So who travels the longest distance? You'll have to download the zine to find out!

How to Cut & Fold the Zine
Each issue is designed as a single-sheet mini zine.
You’ll need:
One sheet of paper (US Letter or A4)
Scissors
Instructions:
Print: Use standard letter paper (8.5" x 11"). Make sure your printer settings are set to "Actual Size" or 100% scale.
Fold & Cut: If you’ve never made an 8-panel pocket zine before, it requires a simple accordion fold and a single slice right through the center line.
Read: Tuck it into your pocket and take it outside!

The folding diagram shown above is not my original work. I found versions of it across multiple sites and don’t know who originally created it, but I found it helpful—and it’s something I would have drawn myself.
