Cotton Candy skies after the storm

A bitter cold start to 2018 with a graupel snowfall... tiny, soft pellets of soft hail / snow tapping against windows and collecting quietly.

But after the storm cleared - the sky transformed leaving pale pink cotton candy hues with soft blue skies. The cold lingered, but the light warmed for a moment.

It was one of those fleeting winter scenes - harsh and gentle at the same time. Makes you stop, look up, and remember exactly where you were.
