About Jen Bishop
Jen Bishop is a multidisciplinary artist based in the United States, working across painting, printmaking, mosaic & visual arts. Her work explores presence, memory, and transformation through layered texture, luminous silhouettes, and quiet symbolism.
She began drawing at an early age, inspired by watching her dad bring ideas to life on paper and encouraged by countless library trips with her mom. She later studied architecture at Pratt Institute in New York City, where her interest in structure, space, and process deeply shaped her visual language. Alongside her studies and professional design work, she began exhibiting, receiving commissions, and building an international freelance practice.
Today, she balances a full-time career as a user experience designer in finance and healthcare with a deeply personal studio practice. Following the sudden loss of her dad in 2024, art became both refuge and reflection... guided by a belief she returns to often: nothing is final, and growth thrives in motion.
